For Labor Day, we organized a big group from school to spend the long weekend “Glamping” at El Capitan Canyon. In short, it was a blast. We drank, we ate, we sang, we ate s’mores, we swam in the ocean. A perfect end to Summer!
Baker and I also hauled our Blackstone griddles up there giving us 72″ combined inches of grilling goodness. Everything from pancakes to eggs to bacon to tacos were prepared on the Blackstones.
On the final night, we served up tacos from the griddle including chicken, veggies, and Baker’s homemade carnitas (recipe forthcoming). It was a blast!
